Abstract
Roland Barthes said “The birth of the reader must be at the cost of the death of the author.” How can readers gain news free of biased interpretation? While algorithms flood feeds with endless information, people are trapped in echo chambers of like-minded creators. What feels like choices are actually limitations.
The Archive of People empowers readers to encounter diverse viewpoints. The project exposes how media bias and personal identity can limit our understanding of facts. Through UX design and data visualization, this project encourages readers to be active critical thinkers instead of passive consumers of media.
