Abstract
Oregon rivers embody both the calm and chaos of the world as they carve remote landscapes, power cities, irrigate farms, and provide food, lodging and recreation for plants and animals. Alsea to Zigzag is a joyful exploration of these stories, weaving personal experience with new discoveries. Mixing methods and media, the zine is an ode to the sweetness of streams and the powerful, though not inexhaustible, nature of their existence.
