Love for Lost is a social campaign based on the facts of animal homelessness. Nearly 1.5 million homeless pets are euthanized each year in the U. S. due to pet overpopulation and the shortage of shelter space. This project focuses on generating public awareness of animal adoption and encouraging people to find pets at animal shelters or humane societies.
Using illustrated portraits of adoptable pets, the exhibition is designed to generate curiosity and empathy for shelter pets with facts and stories. An accompanying book will analyze the causes of animal homelessness, and guide readers to take action.
