Abstract
Rooted in humanity’s historical observation of animal behavior, this project leverages ecological data and sleep studies to explore how sleep behaviors observed in dolphins, koalas, African elephants, giraffes, and brown bats can inform human sleep strategies. Merging biomimicry with sleep science, Zoozzz translates these habits into accessible interventions. The outcomes include five Sleep Field Guides and an interactive website designed to engage a sleep-deprived public through playful, species-specific analogies.
