Abstract

Moody is an emotionally-accepting therapeutic fragrance brand for young people overwhelmed by stress. Based on Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions and its associated color psychology, the brand transforms four real emotions—loathing, rage, grief, and terror—into soft, healing Morandi colors. It uses plant-based scents to create custom fragrances for dual visual and olfactory therapy.

Moody does not force happiness or cover up negative emotions; it emphasizes seeing, respecting, and accepting every true feeling. Through direct, straightforward language on the packaging, the brand turns fragrance from just a scented product into a safe emotional outlet and a tool for self-reconciliation, where young people can be themselves without pretense.
