Abstract
Creating a living space is closely tied to building a sense of safety and stability, particularly for students arriving in a new environment for the first time. Informal exchanges of second-hand furniture within community group chats reveal an existing yet often overlooked network of mutual support among students. This project proposes a branding system for a regional app, NOOK, that facilitates the sharing, reselling, and donating of everyday items within student communities. By focusing on systems rather than individual objects, the project addresses emotional security, financial accessibility, and environmental sustainability in transient academic contexts.
